Sarah Fogg and I made a new music zine and took it to Manchester MCM Expo at the weekend. It's also available to buy online through my Etsy Shop.

Excho & The Bunnymen & Maximo Park

 

I went to the Godiva Festival a couple of weekends ago. I was at work for most the weekend but I did enjoy managing to find time to see 2 of the headline acts. The above sketches are from the Friday night when I saw Echo and the Bunnymen

 

These sketches are of The View.

Maximo Park's set was amazing. I managed to get close to the front so it was great being able to draw more stage details. When I think of this band I'm always reminded of the instrument smashing in their 2009 Glastonbury performance. 

Free Mini Comic: Party Poopers

New free mini comic to hand out at events! This year Inspired Comics Collective have confirmed tables at Manchester MCM Expo in July and London MCM Expo in October. The secret password to guarantee you get your copy is 'Do you have a business card?'

I'm still deciding whether to post the poster drawing online or keep it secret for those who get hold of the print version.

Daft Punk - One More Time

Giant Rhinos Summer Blog

Hello! I've finished most of the anthology comics I was working on over the winter and spring so I'm hoping to work more on this project again over the summer. It was a lot of fun drawing aliens again!

Villagers and Stealing Sheep

I went to see Villagers play live in Birmingham this week. It was an amazing live session. I don't have many gig sketches because it got very dark when they played, but I've drawn this illustration encase Sarah and I have time to make a new music zine soon. 

 

This is a sketch of Stealing Sheep - who played at the same gig.

I'm hoping some of the Giant Rhinos characters will be appearing in some mini comics this year to make up for delays on being able to work on the main story.

ACEO

I've been working on some Artist Trading Cards to take to Thought Bubble next weekend. They are all original hand drawn cards and some of them are of the Giant Rhinos In Space characters. This is Terry, Annie and Lily
